Emotions

What are Emotions?

Everybody wonders why in the world people are crying after winning like the Gold medal match in the Olympics or doing something great. Well it is called emotions. We all are emotional at one point in our lives. Like that day when my grandparents left to India after staying with us for a while I got emotional. That’s because I love them and it’s really sad to see them leave especially when I know that I won’t be seeing them for the next year or so.

Emotions

Sad Tears and Tears of Joy

There are two types basic emotions that almost everyone experiences at some point. These are when you’re happy and when you are sad. Normally older children and adults have a larger variety of emotions then younger kids. The time with my grandparents I was very sad. It’s human nature to feel sad when you miss someone. I had sad emotions because they were leaving and I love them very much. Some people cry when they see people that they haven’t seen in a while. Why is that? Well there is not correct answer to this question. But usually that is because of the joy that results by their return. Does the phrase tears of joy ring a bell?

Most times when  kids get sad these days it’s because they might want to play on some electronics or play outside or even something  as little as buying a strip of bubblegum. But most of those are alligator tears and are pretty fake just so that you can get what you want. If kids win something they normally just smile but they rarely ever cry. But if Alison Felix or Micheal Phelps (Olympians) win something in the Olympics they will get sad emotions.  So next time you see an athlete on TV crying after they won a medal, then you will know that they have happy emotions.
