The Warriors’ Game Plan

The Warriors decided they needed more players that can play inside because Curry can shoot threes to get revenge on the Cavaliers.  In July 2016, Durant decided to become a free agent and announced that he would be joining the Golden State Warriors!

Durant is so good at shooting that “in 2013, Durant ended the season with a 51 percent shooting rate, a 41.6 percent three point shooting rate, and a 90.5 free throw shooting rate, Durant became the youngest player in NBA history to join the 50–40–90 Club” – From Kevindurant.com

During the off season the Warriors decided to take and welcome in KD (Kevin Durant). I thought that was a great decision!  KD who came from the Thunder was pretty good because the Thunder almost knocked the Warriors out of the Playoffs. Which is probably another reason why they chose Kevin Durant to join their team. KD signed a two year $54.3 million contract with the Warriors, and that’s a lot of money!

KD first played with the Seattle SuperSonics (They are not a basketball team any more) which drafted him in the second round of the 2007 draft. The SuperSonics relocated the team to the Oklahoma City Thunder which was KD’s former team. The now 28 years old Kevin Durant and the Warriors hope to make this season a good season and get revenge on the Cavaliers.
